Nice action shot, where was the picture taken?
Obviously she has done this before, don't get the posture right in the jump and the landing hurts (and if your feet are even half an inch apart its a whole new world of hurt).

The shot was taken in the Hinterland off the Gold Coast - somewhere around Mt Tambourine. I'm not a local, and the model directed me to the spot.
That's her husband down below...

I nicknamed her 'Gecko' because of the way she climbs up trees and cliffs (mainly without hands) as though they were a set of stairs.

She actually works in Forestry, I suspect she has done this often - perhaps Tarzan's Jane is a more appropriate nickname!

I think you would have to be half gecko to get up those rocks.
Some nice country around Tamborine but this is one spot I haven't found, have to go looking.

If its somewhere near Tamborine I will try and visit, looks like a good place to cool off with photo opportunities as well.

I thought she was working her way along the cliff to the top of the falls... but she just yelled my name and jumped... a lucky capture!

skdfjslkdjfksd eek! I've jumped off SMALL cliffs into water and it is so not my thing. Water is so hard from that high up! Hope she had a safe landing. Kudos on not being a superhero and being like "don't do that, it hurts!" and letting her jump so you can get a shot. Haha. <3

She was there, he was there, I was there, the jump was made - I did have to burn in the bottom left corner - it was blown out by the lighting...

There are two things in this life I hate: heights, and jumping from them.

oh my...what a brave person. How high was it?

Don't think I could ever do that...afraid of heights.

Where was it? (or would that be telling? )

Not really - I know we visited Curtis Falls as well... but this one had a long walk to it, and was a very popular swimming hole on the day. A lot of the river there was accessible, with rocky pools and boulders the size of mini-minors.

sounds wonderful. We went for a drive the other day out along Tallebudgera Creek Rd. Found some lovely spots near the creek with easy access to the water and near enough to totally deserted! Then went across to Currumbin Creek Rd & every spot was totally crowded. We know where we'll be going in future.

I've travelled Currumbin Creek rd to the end, where there is a National Park - lots of great places past the swimming holes once the road gets a bit iffy.

That's would be the MT Couthal end?...that's where it was the most crowded..standing room only, no parking left..all these people crowding into a small area & less than 10 minutes away there was a besutiful creek screaming for attention!
